Filming Process
Day 1
Scene: Drug Exchange
Location: Barnsley Alhambra Underpass
In this scene we wanted an affective setting which represented the character, Stacey Leigh at her lowest point, therefore we went about filming when the weather was quite dreary and day light was disappearing, therefore the underpass's orange lighting looked more effective in shots, and highlighting the character's faces, as it was during the hours when the day was just about getting dark.
The problems that occurred when filming this scene was that the section of the underpass in which we chose to film was quite busy, therefore sound became a problem as the public who were passing by made the character's dialogue unclear on camera. Another was the interference of the public who would start talking to members of the group while in the process of recording, as well as shouting comments about the props we were using (the small bag of fake drugs.)
