Filming Process

Day 2

Scene: Father's House Abuse.
Location: Jordan Evans House - Victoria Street.

For this scene we needed a house environment to represent domestic abuse, but also so that we weren't showing acts of violence in public if we out in an open area filming. While filming we were on a time schedule as our actress had other college commitments to attend to, therefore the recording process and set up of equipment was more quicker and focused then usual. We wanted the scene to be as authentic and representive as of a normal home, so showed stereotyped characteristics, such as being relaxed at home on the sofa watching television (The Jeremy Kyle Show) with a can of beer.
The problems that occured, was the spacing of the fight scene, and determining where the camera should be positioned to capture the abuse but also to make it look real rather than organised and fake, aswell as lighting in hallway and staircase.
